With extensive experience in aptamer development, our scientists are confident in providing a full range of aptamer screening services to advance science and technology. Creative Biolabs is able to provide aptamer screening services for homogeneous molecules in an efficient and high-quality manner.
Nucleic acid aptamers are screened by targeting a class of molecules containing the same moiety. The aptamer recognizes the group and has affinity for a class of molecules containing the group, while it has low or no affinity for molecules that do not contain the group.
Researchers targeted four groups of aminoglycoside antibiotics: gentamicin and apomycin, kanamycin and tobramycin, balomycin and neomycin, and streptomycin and dihydrostreptomycin. RNA nucleic acid aptamers recognizing the aminoglycoside antibiotics were obtained by toggle SELEX.

In order to improve the specificity of small molecule target screening, toggle SELEX can be used. The screening is carried out by using molecules containing the same functional group and molecules without functional group as targets respectively. Toggle SELEX is a method of screening for multiple targets simultaneously by switching between different targets.
